⛳ Caring for Your Custom Engraved Club

The custom engraving on your golf club is engineered to last a lifetime. Unlike surface-level decals or basic paint fills, our deep engraving process creates a permanent, highly durable imprint that easily withstands the rigors of the golf course—from morning dew and heavy impacts to sand and turf friction.

While the engraving itself is permanent, the surrounding metal still requires regular maintenance to keep it looking pristine. By implementing a few simple care practices, you can preserve the quality and intricate detail of your custom club, ensuring it remains a showstopping piece in your bag for years to come.

Recommended Aftercare Routine:

Gentle Cleaning: After your round, use a soft-bristled nylon brush and warm, soapy water to gently remove dirt, sand, and grass clippings from the recessed engraved areas and milled face. Avoid wire brushes or harsh abrasive pads, as these can scratch the club's custom finish.

Thorough Drying (Crucial!): Moisture is the enemy of carbon steel and custom finishes. Always dry your club completely with a clean microfiber towel after cleaning or playing in wet conditions. Pay special attention to the deep grooves of the engraving, dabbing them dry so water does not pool and cause rust.

Apply a Protective Barrier: To prevent oxidation and keep the metal looking fresh, occasionally apply a very light coat of protective oil (such as baby oil, gun oil, or a silicone-based protectant) to the club head using a soft cloth. Wipe away any excess.

Always Use a Headcover: When the club is not in play, keep it protected with a high-quality, dry headcover. This prevents "bag chatter" and accidental dings from other clubs from damaging the artwork or the top line of your putter.

Store Indoors: Avoid leaving your golf clubs in the trunk of your car for extended periods. Fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels can introduce unnecessary moisture and accelerate wear.
